HomeGroup Password
The Home Group Password
When you create a network like the one you use in your home or in a small office, you probably need a need a way to share resources and devices among the computers which are in the network, like sharing the printers and accessing more files from a particular server which owns them. You need a Home Group to do all of these. The Problem comes when a single computer creates the network and the other one tries to join it. A Home Group has password protection to restrict un authorize access to the resources on the server.
Before a client Computer joins a network, it needs a password to do that so it could access to the resources in it. Most at times it difficult to do that, because when the user inputs the same password the system complains that it is incorrect which means it cannot join the network. When this happens to you look so frustrated and sometimes you will be thinking of getting an expert to do that for you while you can possibly do that yourself, i mean fix the problem.
When a Network is created, the computers almost have different Time Servers so this will be impossible for them to join the type of Network Location the Server has created which here is the Home Group Network Location.
To fix this problem hover your mouse on the Time and Date Tab located at the right bottom corner of the Task Bar and click on Change Time and Date Settings, When it opens click on the Internet Time Select a time server you want to use for example like time.windows.com and that use the time you chose for the rest of the system. When that is done return to the Network and try joining the Home Group again, and this time you will have a success.
